He’s right about the need for growth, something that has eluded British governments for 18 years. He’s right about education. You may not remember the relief and hope that greeted his premiership. Yes, he sidelined parliament, and he followed the idiot Bush. Cameron bombed North Africa. Apart from Major, he’s the only past PM who has something to say. I’d listen to Obama too.

A good essay(as always). However i wouldn’t be too confident on the last sentence. There are lots of people out there who enjoy being fooled.

Very nicely written. I read the Rubenstein piece as either wholly or partly tongue in cheek, but who knows?
